- Reason for joining the company

I was formerly in the overseas business planning division of a security software vendor. I joined Aethera & Company because I found the company attractive in that I could get involved in all phases, from commercial product development, through overseas trade operations, to overseas marketing.

- Description of my present job

I manage the marketing department. Our goal is to develop products for the Chinese market by drawing on the high-tech, commercial electronic products that are available in Japan and to set up local sales networks. Because the company is still very young, I am required to offer support to other departments as well.

- How rewarding and interesting is my job?

The job of developing commercial products for the Chinese market and devising local sales networks and service system configurations requires a wide range of knowledge and skills. It's sometimes tough when things don't go as I expect them to. Despite this, I find overseas trading interesting and rewarding.

- What I want to do with Aethera in the future?

The Chinese market will continue to grow thanks to the influence of the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. I'd like to remain active in this hugely promising market. Also, I'd like to do my utmost to contribute to the relationship between Japan and China. I look forward to working with people who share my aspirations. It's my hope that we can strengthen the bridges between Japan and China.

To take the lead in a wide range of areas from finding potential customers, mainly in Japan and China, through making proposals, to offering services, as well as taking the lead in providing services throughout the entire operational department.

Leader, operational department (Staff member)

To take the lead in a wide range of area from finding potential customers, mainly in Japan and China, through making proposals, to offering services under the supervision of the general manager, as well as taking the lead in providing services in a particular area.

Leader, support clerical worker, corporate department (Staff member)

To take the lead in trading business, mainly in Japan and China, while providing support related to overseas marketing management.

Guidelines for Applicants

Remuneration Fixed salary based on annual salary system
Work location Nishi-shinjuku,Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
Holidays Two days off every week (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays, year-end through New Year holidays, congratulation or condolence leave and other special leave, leave with pay (13 days in the first year of employment), sickness or injury leave
Working hours 7 hours, 40 minutes (08:50 to 17:30) (Flex-time system)
Compensation package Total transportation allowance, various social insurance payments
